Will people say ...She has a heart like Jesus
In church today, the choir sang a song called "Your Heart". This song asked the question... at the end of the day, will people say I have a heart like yours?What does it mean to have a heart like Jesus?
The bible refers to the word "heart" in 725 verses.
The dictionary gives the definition for heart as
"the center of the total personality, especially with reference to intuition, feeling, or emotion" and "capacity for sympathy; feeling; affection"
What is emotion? any of the feelings of joy, sorrow, fear, hate, love, etc.
Deuteronomy 4:29
But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deuteronomy 4:39
Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.
Deuteronomy 6:5
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
